Lauren first stepped onstage at age three in a Christmas pageant and hasn't left since. Acting in her first play at age eight, she was active for several years in speech and debate and directed for her high school drama program. Lauren was also a founding member and original director for Alfalfa's Shadows, a "Rocky Horror" shadow cast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She is currently the head coach for the Humboldt State University Cheer Squad.

At Humboldt State University, Lauren is working on Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and News Editorial Journalism while lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at the Arcata Community Pool.
